Environment Bank celebrates award season success
It’s officially awards season and we have already achieved some excellent results.
It’s fantastic to be recognised for our work tackling the critical issue of biodiversity loss nationwide. Our meaningful, high-integrity, landscape-scale nature recovery projects are pioneering a new mechanism for biodiversity restoration through private investment and innovative thinking.
So far this year, we are delighted to have won Gold for Best Growing Business at The University of York Enterprise Awards, particularly poignant for the team based at our headquarters in York.
We’re proud to say that Environment Bank has been listed amongst the Ideas Forum’s Fast Growth 50, identifying our organisation as one of the fastest growing firms in the UK.
We have also been awarded Silver for Best Product at the Global Good Awards, a clear demonstration that our offering is truly exceptional. With an expert team of ecologists working on Habitat Bank creation and already over 3,500 hectares of land collated for nature recovery, our product is already delivering lasting results for nature and local communities.
Our groundbreaking strategy is restoring biodiversity, supporting local communities, and taking vast strides towards reconnecting people with nature. We’re thrilled to be developing a presence in every corner of the country and well on our way to establishing at least one Habitat Bank in every LPA (Local Planning Authority) across England.
But awards season isn’t over yet! We have been shortlisted twice for the upcoming Great British Entrepreneur Awards, putting us in the running for two top accolades, Equity-Backed Entrepreneur of the Year and Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year. For over a decade, these awards have been championing entrepreneurship, so it is truly an honour to have been shortlisted.
Congratulations to every member of our team for your trailblazing work, we can’t wait for more amazing results!
